for teams

HERO

Most outpatient clinical teams are not short on capable people.

What creates recurring friction is not a lack of judgment. It is the absence of shared protocols for the decisions that keep coming back. Staffing gaps handled differently every time. Schedule overrides with no clear approval process. Accountability conversations deferred because the standard was never named. Referrals that go cold before anyone notices.

Human Heart Work works directly with clinical teams and the leaders who run them to resolve the operational decisions that keep recurring. The work is embedded in time you already have. No additional meetings, no prep, no consulting overhead.

SECTION 1: THE TEAM DECISION RESET

Entry point. Available now.

One recurring decision. Thirty minutes. Your team does the work.

Before the session, the manager identifies the highest-friction decision in the practice. One question: what does your team keep revisiting that you would like to put to rest?

In the session, the team names what is actually happening when the situation arises. They locate who currently owns the decision and whether that is the right person. They build the resolution language together, specific enough to point to the next time it comes up. The session closes with a named protocol, a clear owner, and a check-in trigger for 30 days out.

Your team leaves with a one-page protocol in their own language that they can use the next morning. No deliverable to build afterward. No follow-up work required.

What the session produces depends on what the decision needs. A resolved decision with a named protocol. An agreed framework for how similar decisions get made. Or a shared behavioral agreement the team holds together.

Investment: $200 Session length: 30 minutes, embedded in your existing team meeting Available for PT, OT, chiro, primary care, and outpatient clinical settings

SECTION 2: FOR REGIONAL LEADERS

The Reset works at the practice level. For regional directors carrying decision inconsistency across multiple practices, two additional engagements are in development.

The Leadership Decision Workshop is a 90-minute facilitated session for a regional director and their facility managers. It is designed for the moment when managers across a region are each making locally rational decisions that produce friction at scale. The session surfaces where leadership assumptions diverge, clarifies who has authority to decide versus advise, and closes with a shared framework the team built together.

The Decision Support Retainer provides on-demand decision support for a group of facility managers over a sustained period. Managers request time as real decisions arise. Individual sessions are completely confidential. Aggregate decision themes, categories and patterns only with no attribution, are reported to the regional director quarterly.

Both engagements are available for conversation now. Neither is formally listed until first delivery is complete.

SECTION 3: DECISION GUIDE

Not sure where the friction is coming from or whether a session is the right fit?

5 Recurring Decisions in Outpatient Practice is a free resource written specifically for practice managers. It names the decisions that create the most recurring friction in outpatient settings, explains why they keep coming back, and gives you language to use with your team and your leadership. No form, no email required.

SECTION 4: BRIDGE TO INDIVIDUAL TRACK

Some managers who work through a team session realize they are carrying something that does not belong in a group conversation. A decision about their role, their direction, or something they need to work through before it becomes a conversation with anyone else.

That is what the individual track is for.
